This is [SKCD006]

The first four tracks "Flugbahn" (Trajectory), "Schmerz" (Ache), "Flucht" (Escape) and "Eintrittskanal" (Piercing Channel) are only sliced from a single continuous recording session of little more than half an hour in length, which orginally I have called "Projekt:IL".
The recording was made after a short phase of preparation of only one single short sample that was looped, filtered and whipped to reflect the development of my emotional state at that moment. No sequencer was used and no additional channels, no dubbing and no afterwards mixing but normalization. Every change is manually inflicted and real-time. The only other sound you will hear during Projekt:IL was a little accident with a pitched bell sound at the beginning of "Eintrittskanal". But in the end, I find it to be appealing, as it is.
At that time I felt a deep July wound draining my spirits out of me. After that session I had relieved myself from a lot of pressure and experienced a time of healing. These four tracks are only describable as direct, honest and pure. They are not "good music" nor meant to be music at all. They are neither perfect, as emotions can be true, but not perfect. They carry their energy towards the listener, who lets himself be hypnotized by the monotony and dares to feel with me once again the emotional ride it has been. Be ready for shivers and your heart beat knocking your inner walls.

The other two tracks "Media Materia" and "Kopfnacht" (Head Night) are experiments from some time before and after Projekt:IL. While "Media Materia" is based on my fascination for radio transmissions and noises, as well as the continuity of presence that we allow modern media to surround our senses with, "Kopfnacht" is another emotional reflection of myself. This time, the subject is a day of inner emptyness.

Wound is an acoustic reflection of my dreams, emotions, thoughts and the perception of the painful process of gaining experience without protective nets or shields: Life! The triscel, despite its many meanings in all the different religions and cultures, is to me simply the perfect shape, smooth and sharp at the same time, hard to describe or draw. A symbol for permanent self evolution. Nonpolitic ... more
